A depth extraction solution to real-time environment in terms of contour attributes has been presented in the paper. We adopt stereo matching algorithm to extract the object depth in the common digital-optical device--- Bumblebee2 camera. In the process, we firstly get sparse disparity estimation and then add contour energy model. Finally disparity Refinement smooths the result. A three-step procedure is proposed to solve them

sequentially. We determine disparity values in target regions based on global optimization.

The proposed three-step simple stereo matching procedure yields excellent quantitative and qualitative results with camera in a fast way. Keywords--depth extraction;Stereo matching; disparityContour energy model.
